Chicken Fajita Recipe

A step-by-step guide for Chicken Fajitas!

Chicken Fajitas is a Mexican dish that has many lovers worldwide. Let us check the great recipe for chicken fajitas. 

Main Ingredients 

  • 4 Boneless and Skinless Chicken Breast Fillets, sliced into thin strips
  • 2.5ml freshly grounded black pepper
  • 2.5ml salt
  • 60ml lime juice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 2tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1113g pot guacamole dip
  • 60ml fresh cream
  • Fresh lime wedges for garnishing.
 

Method 

  • Place the sliced skinned chicken in a bowl with salt, pepper, garlic and lime juice. Toss these things to coat the chicken properly, leave it for thirty minutes.
  • Peel the thinly sliced onion, de-seed the peppers and then slice them.
  • Heat the oil in a heavy base pan, fry the onions and peppers for 3-4 minutes, and stir then until they soften up.  Add the chicken and cook for further 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the color turns golden and the chicken looks sizzling.
  • Place the tortillas under a hot grill for about a minute and turn once.
  • Spoon a generous amount of chicken and pepper mixture onto each tortilla, then the top with a spoonful of guacamole and fresh cream.
  • Roll up the tortilla and serve hot with lime wedges.
 

Chicken fajitas take about 40 minutes to be prepared and the total cooking time turns out to be 15 minutes.
